I play fairly casually and after having the game for about 3 months I'm in the mid 40's on my ranking. I am thinking about not prestiging and just keeping my guns and other stuff when I do play online. What would you guys recomend to do that or just go ahead and prestige?

Would it be your first prestige? I always recommend doing it at least once.

I always like the challenge of getting everything back again. Playing with friends online and trying to get my Pro perks and guns back is the best part of the game to me.

I got Ghost Pro back last night. Got really lucky some guy hacked a sentry gun and I had an easy walk to kill it. I should get the G11 back tonight, great gun.

 

I don't know which is harder, Ghost Pro or Marathon Pro. Kill a sentry gun or capture 15 flags on CTF.

Well the new maps drop later on tonight/over night which ever you prefer to call it...lol.

 

Oh and there is yet another Double XP weekend coming up THIS weekend. It will begin at 1 p.m. Fri., March 4, and will end at 1 p.m. Mon., March 7. I haven't been playing well at all lately seeing as how I just switched over to a 42" HD tv...can't get adjusted to the graphics just yet. I also just got a Trittan AX Pro headset in the mail today so that should be awesome to use...will be able to have a surround sound system on my ears...lol.

I have the 720's myself and plan on making the switch to the Pro version as everyone I've talked to and read is that a mixamp is a must on this game to really pick up on other people's movements near you.

I may get one of those when/if I move in with the gf at some point. Right now I'm not near anyone really to bother them but I have a feeling she would hate hearing it all of the time. My only concern is that my loud voice/angry yelling may be just as bad as the sound effects from the game at times.

Yeah there are Tritton AX Pro Headset and then there are the Tritton AX 720 Headset. These are the 2 best headsets that Tritton makes right now from what I know. They are a major competitor to MLG and their Astro headsets.

 

There is a mixamp that comes with the Pro Headset that you are able to adjust the treble, bass, etc. with the sounds in game that will allow you to single out opposing player's footsteps better and thus you have a great advantage.

New maps are pretty cool. Really like Stadium and Discovery. I'm sure the other two will grow on me when I learn where the campers are going to be hiding in their corners. Holy cow there was a TON of camping on Kowloon and Berlin Wall. We had to play Domination on those two maps just to get some action.

 

Stadium is a rushers dream map. Discovery offers a little bit of everything.

Kowloon is one of the worst camping maps I can remember. Dark, rainy, and places to hide everywhere. The one positive about it is that there are many different ways of getting into almost every location, so if they don't cover their bases properly (or move), you've got them the next time.

Capture the Flag on Kowloon should be very interesting.

I just got it on Xbox last night. Gamertag Kobe13863, soooooo much different than Halo. I am terrible.

I didn't get to play as much as I'd hoped. Wife made me go to a concert Friday night:irked::lol:

 

I like the new maps. Yes, even Kowloon has grown on me. CTF on Kowloon is awesome.

 

I've tried new things with these maps. Played a lot more domination than I normally do. New games and new load-outs.
