We are not dealing with "should be." I was responding to the assertion that this was not personal. Believe me, between Griffin and Olbermann it's personal.

Nope I admit to being biased. Olbermann is a clown. Williams is honestly liberal, but I think with his firing you will see him reassess his beliefs and shift more towards the middle.

 

Didn't like Olbermann as a sports guy and think he is a buffoon as a commentator. I don't like Maddow either. I do like Chris Matthews, and am decing on O' Donnell.

Also: as an opinion host on MSNBC and not a journalist NBC News, those standards about prior approval don't even apply to Olbermann.

Fox certainly doesn't, considering they donated directly to Republicans this cycle.

I don't care if it was justified or not. As a matter of fact I hope they did him wrong. Oberman is one of my least favorited TV personalities. Here's hoping they screw him.

I did get a kick out of this quote from the article.

Not sure if it has to be approved or merely disclosed. I don't see the big deal either as it's not hard to tell who they support so they're not misleading anyone. Shoot, 88% of TV execs contributions in 2008 went to Democrats so it's not exactly a surprise on Olbermann.
