It was just a matter of time until you came to your senses, glad to have you aboard. :D

Let's hear some details. How much have you had to drink? Were you going to be forced to listen to Garth Brooks for the remainder of the week?

 I did not vote straight dem, either. I voted for one republican and elected not to vote for a local democrat that was running uncontested.

I wouldn't read into it as an endorsement of the GOP. More of an indictment of the Dems.

Of course, following up with fkyw's query, I was just coming off deadline, so it's possible I wasn't thinking clearly. :D

Let's get it out there from anyone who is willing to say it. Did anyone vote straight ticket? Did anyone vote for just one person of the opposing party?

As I mentioned in another thread, I did not vote straight ticket. I voted for one republican and chose not to vote for a democrat in a local election that was running uncontested.

I voted for Republican Bobbie Holsclaw for Jefferson County Clerk. She does a great job.

Jim , don't feel bad , I once voted for a democrat . Honest. Really did. It was for ______ ______ the guy that started the Ky. lottery and said it would end our education woes. But I was 18 and dumb. Someone help me out with the name. Don't recall making any other mistakes like that one.

I voted mostly Republican but I did cast some votes for several local Democrats in my area.

Brereton Jones? No wait ... I think that was Wallace Wilkinson.

No straight ticket for me. I did vote for two Democrats.

I was at UK Hospital today listening to a nurse on her break when she said while on the phone "You don't have to actually vote for the person if they're not running against anyone, right? They just count it as a vote?"
