This isn't the HC team that began the season without its star. Boone beat a short-handed HC team. This HC is a scoring juggernaut that wins this game by 3 scores.

 

Early season losses don't matter if a team hits their stride by game 3 or 4. Henry Clay wins this game because they aren't fast. They are explosive. Connor's defense will need to contain or control multiple speedsters on every play, and that's hard to do for roughly 24 minutes. Simon Kenton will be traveling to Lex next week. Should be a good rematch.

Also, cannot give HC short fields as a result of TO's. I believe if they can win the TOP and not turn the ball over, they will have a chance to pull this one out. They are coming off a two week rest which will also help. Give Trosper and his outstanding staff two weeks to prepare and his teams will always have a chance.

Conner will not be able to protect their throwing QB. This game will be over early, IMO. Henry Clay is a different team than they were earlier when they lost to SK. Remember, SK only beat them by a FG.

Anyone that thinks Conner will dominate or beat HC is nuts. Boone and SK didn't even see our stars at work. Since Vinny Miller has moved to quarterback the score board has exploded. Unless you have a track team that can blanket the recievers it will be a long night. I truly doubt Conner will be able to keep up offensively with HC's firepower.

Must have been wearing horse blinders, because HC has a big, quick and strong d-line. Boone beat them early in the season when the timing in the HC passing game was not perfect. IMO Conner will have trouble keeping this game close because of the speed of HC. Good luck trying to catch Harris, the kid has serious blazing speed.
