Yeah! Winning 3 state championships in a row and the winningest program in Kentucky, Highlands should definately change what they are doing, maybe they should use different busses as well...................... NOT!

The fact of the matter is that sometimes somebody had to get hurt before liabilities are fixed. The old thats the way it has always been doesn't hold up in court.

A couple of years ago when CovCath was playing one of the Big GCL school at UC, one of the stripes when to the sidelines and told the GCL band to stop playing when CovCath was trying to snap the ball! I have to admit however it was the first and last time I have ever seen it called and haven't seen it called since!

When was the last time there was an injury related to Highlands sideline? And does it occur more frequently than other sidelines?

I recently saw this at a Northern Ky Game whenever the home team had a defensive stand going Hells bells was played straight through the snap with no consideration to play calling at the line of srimmage by the opponent.

Yeah they probably could do that, but instead they rent better busses. Who cares it's just busses.

From music to buses. I don't get it. ? What about concessions and urinals and ....?

I won't act like people treat the opposing team like crap from the Fort as Rob put it. However, it is tough to argue that you have problems with funds when you are taking charter buses to local games. I have a feeling that sideline issue could be fixed if it was deemed necessary.

 

Take out stands. You are simply not supplying your opposing team proper facilities at gametime. Do you know how much charter buses cost? If you use them every game, I guarantee you are overspending by 10-15 K a year.

 

It would cost very little compared to what you are thinking to remove stands in the front to have room for the opposition during the game. It is simply not a priority.

All these complaints and accusations and threats, you would have thought you have spent many a times on that sideline in your days. LOL!!! Since you jacked the thread up, so will I.

 

For what it's worth, which is about a $1,000,000.00, man I got dizzy typing that, HHS and Ft. Thomas doesn't have the luxury of a generous donor to help update, what, 16+/- year old facilities to the tune of a $1,000,000.00 plus some change. LOL!!! Oh and heck yeah I'm jealous. What athletic program wouldn't love to have donations like that. Your football facilities are top notch. Enjoy the playoffs.:thumb:
