Cincinnati St. X 12 Colerain, OH 9 (OT)

Featured Replies

There were many other plays, players, and coaches that cost them that game. To focus on one play in OT, is very short-sighted.

I would start with less than 150 yards of total offense in 4+ quarters.

Most games a defense holds a team to 6 points, they will win.

Classy comments about a high school kid. I hope you feel great about yourself.

WOAH WOAH WOAH...hold on a minute. No need to :flame: me. That's not called for.

All I did was point out an obvious mistake in the game. There were 35K people there that saw the same thing I did and included in that number was Lemons himself.

If there is anything Coombs teaches his players, it's that they make mistakes. And in life, you are going to make mistakes. Lemons made a mistake. No big deal. It's a game. That's all it is. If it helps to make him a stronger person in his life, than it serverd it's purpose.

I mean, after all, isn't that why "h.s.sportsrbest"? Because they teach us life lessons while playing a game that 10 years from now, no one is going to remember?

Calm down big fella. I meant no disrespect.

At BGP, we just try not to single out the mistakes of "kids"! (Refer to post #46)

You are only correct if you know that Colerain was in a zone defense. If they were in man your corner did the right thing by going with the post and the linebacker fell for the play fake. Because Cionni was wrapped up on the fake by the two linebackers.
