The championship game is scheduled for Saturday as I understand it.........Covcath/CampCo would play at CampCo to decide the other participant.

 

Heard the same thing. CC and CCH will play Monday night as I understand it. Winner to play HHS at HHS next Saturday night. Anybody able to CONFIRM?

New Cath 21 - Beechwood 20. The difference in the game being a blocked PAT by NCC in the first quarter. Beechwood would miss the next PAT on what looked like a bad snap and converted for 2 after the next score. NCC had to come back in the second half and threw a touchdown pass with just under a minute left to win it.

The championship game for frosh has been listed on our schedule as Thursday night since the beginning of the season. Saturday would be better. 3 games (hopefully) in one week would be a lot for any team.

Coming from one of the CCHS freshman players....They play CovCath Monday at CCHS. Winner will play HHS Saturday for the championship.

Shoot, make it Saturday night and encourage the fans to dress up for Halloween to make it a real "event" atmosphere. The players deserve it!

I believe the championship game is tentatively scheduled for Saturday night at 7:00pm at HHS.

 

It would be a great atmosphere for kids, and nice way to finish of the 2010 Frosh season.

Congrats to the Thoroughbreds. I assume they are meeting Scott next Thursday for the small school championship. I never did hear who Scott played but they seem to be by far the best team in the small school division so I can't imagine the 4 seed beating them. I also assume the game will be at Scott. Does anyone know the exact game time and location?

Because they are trying to build a program and would not be competitive in the big school division. This year's Scott freshman team is very, very good. They are really big and very good. But if you look back over previous years, Scott has been average at best even in the small school division. I think this may be the first time they have been in the championship so it isn't like they are picking on people in the small school division.

 

Which brings me back to an earlier question I had ... how did Cooper do this year in the big school division?

4 years ago when Scott's freshman team played at Highlands they had maybe 20-22 boys, including maybe 3 or so injured. I felt bad for them.

I really think coach Campbell is trying his hardest to get that done. From what I have been told a lot of things are changing at Scott. I guess only time will tell..
