Is this game the playoff's or last week of the season?

From what I understand if (there is that word again) "if" both CovCath and Campbell County end there seasons tied, I have been told there will be a game played at Campbell County on Monday to decide who plays Highlands!

Does that mean Highlands vs Campbell County? Where and When?

 

If Cov Cath and Campbell County both end the season with one loss, they will play a playoff game. The winner of the playoff game will play HHS for the championship. From what I understand, the Frosh schedule has to be complete before the last regular season Varsity game from that school. Since HHS Varsity plays Ryle next Thursday night, the championship will have to played no later than next Wednesday.

I think they have until the weekend to play the game as a Thursday night is normally not the usual night for a game. I might be wrong but....... Would be cool to play that game on a Friday night!

You could very well be correct. Got that info earlier in the week but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I would be nice for the kids to play on a Friday night under the lights though... Nothing else like it at their age!

You are correct! Over the past four years, there has been four different playoff formats.

How did Cooper do this year being in the big school division for the first time? Does anyone have a breakdown on won-loss records for the freshman teams?

It would be nice if they did something like this down here in Jeff County, but they do not. Perhaps too many teams, but St. X Trinity and Central are very talented teams

New Cath 21 - Beechwood 20. The difference in the game being a blocked PAT by NCC in the first quarter. Beechwood would miss the next PAT on what looked like a bad snap and converted for 2 after the next score. NCC had to come back in the second half and threw a touchdown pass with just under a minute left to win it.

I don't know anything about either team so I wouldn't know.

The championship game is scheduled for Saturday as I understand it.........Covcath/CampCo would play at CampCo (Mon) to decide the other participant.
