AAPL PE is 10.4.

Apple down to 460 in after hours trading.

I think I'm buying tomorrow.

Netflix up 35% now in AH. It's been on my radar but I kept waiting to do something. :irked:

I read that the value APPL lost in after hours and early morning trading is equivalent to the entire value of Ford Motor Co.

Boy, think about that for a minute. That's pretty amazing.

I listen to CNBC every day and the hosts and guests have been waiting, just waiting for something bad to happen. (Greece, Sequestration, etc. etc.) It just kept going up. I love it. I never got out when the market tanked.

However, now is NOT a good time to buy. Let the correction happen, then jump back in.

^ I think Monitoring them is the most fun thing about it. I will check back in with you in 3 weeks with my 10% gain. :D I got it at 2.58.

If you're patient it can be fun. Unfortunately there are too many people who aren't patient enough and jump off their stock as soon as they see it going down etc.

I work with too many people who when we had a 401k would change their %'s and investments on a weekly basis depending on if they were making or losing money in a short term and when we switched to state retirmenent system in 20013 a lot of those same people had lost up to $30,000 in their stocks. The ones who didn't change their investments at a drop of a hat were able to cash out much more.

Looking for something new to get in, anything good on anyone's radar that I should take a look at?

I just read last night two good long-term buys. Motley Fool recommended Google & StarBucks. The article said that both stocks have obviously done very well in the past/present, but their long-term growth remains appealing.

For example, Starbucks has already entered China and expects to triple its presence in Asia in the next 5-10 years.

Here's the actual article:

2 Stocks to Buy Now to Hold Forever (GOOG, SBUX)

SBUX up 1.79% since I posted this. I've made slightly over $16.

I'm in on Starbucks as well. :lol2: Lets check back in about a year and I'm confident it will be double digit increase.

Its time for me to get my head out of my but and start doing some investing outside of my IRA's.
