November 25, 201411 yr AAPL is at an all-time high. $118.63 which is the equivalent of $830 pre-split. You buying more?
November 27, 201411 yr I don't want to brag, but I bought cardboard (crdbd) when it was a nickel a ton. I bought 100 tons of it. Only required to keep 5 tons at my house.....neighbors are psyched about it....... Happy Thanksgiving.....
January 23, 201511 yr I just read last night two good long-term buys. Motley Fool recommended Google & StarBucks. The article said that both stocks have obviously done very well in the past/present, but their long-term growth remains appealing. For example, Starbucks has already entered China and expects to triple its presence in Asia in the next 5-10 years. Here's the actual article: 2 Stocks to Buy Now to Hold Forever (GOOG, SBUX) SBUX up 1.79% since I posted this. I've made slightly over $16. Still in? I'm looking good with the news of a record quarter today. Up 39.58% since then. Starbucks Corporation Earnings: A Record Quarter, but a Few Things to Keep Watching
January 23, 201511 yr Any Chipotle shareholders here? Very happy AH session for you. CMG been very very good to me!
January 28, 201511 yr Author Apple with a huge earnings report. I think I read they made $8M PROFIT every hour for the entire quarter.

January 28, 201511 yr Still in? I'm looking good with the news of a record quarter today. Up 39.58% since then. Starbucks Corporation Earnings: A Record Quarter, but a Few Things to Keep Watching Yup, I'm still in. I purchased Starbucks (SBUX) at 63.20 on May 9, 2013. It's now up right around 89. Unfortunately, I didn't buy many shares.
January 28, 201511 yr I recently purchased a home and was forced to sell some of my investments to help with the downpayment. I just went through & audited my choices. All in all, I'm not too disappointed. Obviously some have risen in value, but I was able to sell off a couple before a big loss (such as Conoco Phillips). I sold COP for 85.95 and it's now down to 64.24.
January 28, 201511 yr I think I read they made $8M PROFIT every hour for the entire quarter. That's almost incomprehensible.
January 28, 201511 yr Author That's almost incomprehensible. Largest quarterly net income result for any publicly-traded company ever. $18B IPhone still driving business. China sales jumped 70% due to a contract with China Mobile. Cook started working with China in 2008 to get this business.
January 28, 201511 yr Any thoughts on the Shake Shack IPO coming? I'm enticed. It seems like this type of upscale fast-food business is going to keep growing and Shake Shack has a loyal following. But I'm also hesitant with IPOs. They also have a lot of room to expand. The only time I've ever seen one was in NYC. On the other hand, Five Guys, Smashburger, Jake's, etc. are already established in a lot of areas.
