July 21, 201511 yr AAPL beats estimates but stock is down 7% in after hours trading. Youngest TACster came to me earlier today and said he bought a few shares of Apple today. He Just opened a Scottrade account a few days ago and is playing around in the market. He was not happy about this news!
July 21, 201511 yr Just bought a small stake in Ford. Price has been flat for a long time, but I'm in it for the long haul. Luxury brands are huge sources of profit for car companies and Lincoln has never stacked up. But, for the first time in a long time Lincoln has some offerings out that would look out of place at a retirement home (this is a good thing). I'm basically betting Lincoln's brand image will come around and they'll eventually become a factor in the luxury market. We'll see.

July 22, 201511 yr IWatch sales are a really small part of the picture for Apple but it seems to be a bad sign they didn't disclose any sales numbers in their earnings report. Lost about $60 Billion in market value in after hours trading. iPad sales fell 18% and declined for the 6th straight quarter. They are going to need to come up with an new product and the Watch doesn't seem to be the answer.
