If dunking in warm ups before the refs come out makes him an athlete, then we agree. I have watched closely for two years now and I am underwhelmed. Disappears for long stretches and is not a very good shooter. Hatton is unstoppable getting to the rim.

I was considering Hatton but couldn't find anyone on the list to take off. Brandon is special and will only get better. However, not ready to move him ahead of Travis or Cody.......

Overall, I agree. Maybe he'll become more assertive now that he's "the man." We'll see.

Hatton has skills but he is in the perfect situation, he isn't asked to play defense and has the greenlight to shoot when he steps on the floor. Trammel is already on the list, I could argue Stansbury before Hatton and he got limited time last year.

I agree also. If anyone had the opportunity to see Travis this summer they would know there is so much more to his game than the ability to dunk on everyone. Which he may do alot this year. He should come into his own this season. He will be very fun to watch.

Travis will be in the top three this year if not the top 9th Region player. He averaged a double double all but three games this past year for Boone. He was in double figures for 2 out of 3 stats almost every game, scoring, rebounding and/or assists. He's an all around player that can give all aspects of all game including his exciting dunks!

To add to this, Travis can definitely shoot the ball, but does not have the green light to shoot 3's. He just does not play in a system that allows him to showcase this talent.

That doesn't make sense.

Let the seniors have their love this year....they deserve it. Heck next year, you'll more than likely have Hatton, Stansberry, and Pike all in the top ten (assuming Pike plays).

 

Btw, I think Hatton deserves top ten recognition this year, but he certainly will have plenty of ink over the next four years.

i doubt Hatton could hold his own in one-one games with these two 6'6 guys. When Hatton can drop 35 on Fern Creek while having a 6'9 kid guarding him then I might rank him above Stewart.

 

I love Hatton's game and have watched him for many years. i think he could be the next Scotty Draud of NKY Basketball but he is still just a freshman and will need to show he can play defense with the big boys if he wants to truly move up the player rankings. He is clearly the best shooter in NKY hands down.

So you are saying that Hatton can defend Rico or you are saying he can beat Ricardo off the dribble as an 8th grader? I'd like to know as i missed that matchup.

 

Im not saying that they have to play one-one but i wouldnt rank him above those two. i was also suspect of Stewart's ability to take over a game but i saw clearly that he can do that this summer.
