I doubt it will be a normal sized student section for CCH.

Better than nothing. The lack of student support in the stands yesterday was very disappointing..

I've never been a fan of high school games at this arena due to the lack of atmosphere. These games, moreso than the 9th region tourney, exacerbate that problem.

Even if X and CCH brought big student sections they're muted a bit because of how far away from each other they are.

$10 for students is to high, need to do a student ticket of some kind.

Still a great experience for the kids on the court. How many fans do you think attend NKU games? Heck I called the box office last week 3 hours before gametime and the phone just rang and rang. Nobody answered so I was like, well i guess I wont be taking my two boys to the game.

Agree wholeheartedly. You give you kid money and he has to choose to blow most or all of it on a ticket or go hang out with friends at a restaurant or something he is probably going to use it at the food joint or movies.

Is it a great experience if no one is there?

i thought if Students bought pre-sale, it was $5.00. I also thought Coach L said Cov Cath sold like 300 pre-sale tickets. Would be nice to have that good of turn-out

Most players really seem to enjoy playing on the college court. Heard many of them last night talking about how cool it was. Would they like a full arena, yeah, but it is a grand court, locker room and scoreboard.

They were handing out $150 gift cards and other quality gifts during halftimes and between games. Seemed like they were giving more than ticket sales brought in. Great charity so come on out today and enjoy the comfy seats and expensive food. It is worth it.

I was very disappointed with the lack of student support especially for the Dixie team who is now ranked #1 in Northern Ky.

How was the Holmes student section last night?

They never have any student following especially on the road.

I can see a low turnout on a Sat night in December. Christmas office parties, dinners, etc going on.

Last night they were up against the UK/IU game.....weather was great also.

Today, if the Bengals were having any type of season, I can see people opting to watch the Bengals/Steelers game.

(hopefully that won't be the case)

Mason County will be playing today as of this morning. They never had the intention of backing out from what I was told and that the organizers took it upon themselves to say that they would not be coming, which was news to the folks in Maysvillle.

I also heard that the Louisville Male bus broke down on the way to NKU, but based on the false info that was pedaled by the organizers regarding Mason County, I wonder if their bus really did break down. A quick check on Riherds doesnt show Male participating in the Classic at NKU. Interesting. I am into conspiracy theory on that one.

I guess Taft, doesn't get to play today?

In early action Ryle and Oak Hills the crowd is once again no where to be found.

There is no conspiracy on the Male issue...their bus did break down about 35 miles outside of Louisville. The individual schools are the ones that are no report schedules to the Riherds site...the reason it might not be on there is because it was canceled and there is no reason to keep a canceled game on the schedule.
