You know at first I was going to stay up as late as possible to hear all the excuses by LC fans but on second thought Im going to be the bigger man and stay away from this thread. I think most of us outside of Hyden knew that LC wasnt as good as they thought they was and it took losing to a team that wasnt "supposed" to give them a game at home to wake them up. Anyway, congrats on a good not "great" season. See you next year. Maybe. Go Pirates, Go Cardinals.

 

WYMT loves them though. I be diggin' Sports OT, but other than Bell & Rockcastle (duh) they don't have a clue.

There's really not that much to say about this one. A difficult loss for Leslie to say the very least. The Eagles beat themsleves in this one, they had so many breaks and they have so much talent, but things just didn't fall the right way for them tongiht. LC's guys have nothing to be ashamed of about this season though. They put in so many long hours of hard work on and off of the field and they built a team that should have easily made it to the Regional Championship. But anyway you cut it, everyone in LC is still proud of this team, even though the season did end much too soon. This team will definitely be remembered and looked back upon during the seasons ahead. Congrats on your season Leslie and congratulations to Sheldon Clark on their win tonight.

Leslie County, you have nothing at all to be ashamed of. You had a great team and a great season, no matter what anyone on this site says. Be proud of yourselves, you gave it all you could even if in the end it wasnt enough. I know all of your fans were and always will be, behind you 100%. Again great season, and good luck to all the seniors.

Congratulations Cards! We at Pond Creek are VERY proud of you! We got soooooo excited when they announced your scores, we even blew our air horn for you!!!!!!! Great game! Cant wait to see u next weekend at CAM!

I promised myself I wouldnt say this but what the heck. "I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, etc." I guess the theory that Leslie is a 20 pt better team than either Belfry or SC is out the window. And to "some" of the leslie fans, Remember!!! I have to say this game was worth being cold over. I thought Leslie played a fantastic game. SC was a scrappy team but they got the job done from what I seen. From where I was standing I got to see BJ Young make a fantastic catch, and it was a heck of a throw by Morgan. Leslie keep your heads up because you've got two more sports that you're going to rock in. SC way to go on the win, and good luck next week in the playoffs.
