Name a staff better ??? FC's offensive staff is nothing short of spectacular. Can Holmes say the same ?

 

You do realize that outside of the 75 point perfromance against an 0-6 team that has only scored 46 points in 6 games, FC hasn't scored over 27 points, right? I wouldn't exactly call that being an offensive juggernaut and having one of the best offensive staffs in the state.

 

When I think of great coaching staffs, I think of Trinity, Highlands, St. X, Boyle Co, Bell Co, Beechwood, and Newcath, to name a few.

 

Holmes is legit and has some very good coaching as well. You'll find this out soon enough my friend. Friday isn't that far away.

Franklin County had better bring there A game! Triple overtime against who? Ask Coopers best running back how hard it is to accumulate yards against Holmes defense! Also look out for Holmes offensive speed, and if that doesn't work you better watch out for the pass. Holmes offense is very balanced, pass and run. That makes for a very strong team!

This could be a tuff game for Holmes, but for anyone to say Holmes will lose by 30 is just someone getting the chat going, at least i hope he is not serious, I can see picking your team, but be real, if Holmes was to lose, it would be by a very close margin, Holmes should win, i will say 31 to 17, good luck to both teams

This thread started out like it would be a great one to read, but has cooled off since Monday.

 

Now that both teams have had a week to get ready, does anyone change their mind about who wins?

Holmes will win, Flyers are not ready for the likes of Holmes yet, any school that that is from an equal size or classification that has won any games has beat the flyers soundly, I think this turns out that way. Flyers will compete though, and end up with the two spot in this district.

Which also they did in fact beat them last year, (keep in mind, it was Franklin County's only victory) except it did not go into overtime.

 

Didn't Woodford's coach leave Woodford to come coach at Franklin County?

 

County has improved a lot this year, there offense is more dominant than it was last year, by 80+ more attributes IMO.

 

But I do not see County getting the victory over Holmes, Holmes by more than 2 TD's.
