September 24, 201015 yr They aren't making close to the money they were making. Their viewers are dwindling and now they can't market the way they once could. American Idol is running a thing where you can audition over the internet and submit a video but instead of submitting it on American Idol's own website they want you to submit it on Myspace. Just shows that they are using Myspace to try and attract viewers and some of what they've lost. If it was just submitting it on the AI website then I doubt they get as many as they are going to by putting it on Myspace. Amercian Idol's Tuesday performance shows ranked #1 in both total viewers and viewers ages 18-49 for the 2009-10 season. The Wednesday results show ranked #2 in both catagories. It is still a HUGE moneymaker. The rating might not be as high as they were at the series' peak but it is still the top rated show on television.

September 24, 201015 yr How can she be more of a diva than Paula Abdul? Very true. JLO wanted pilots of shows that she is working on to be picked up by Fox if she was going to do American Idol, I believe they told her no way.:lol:

EX: She wants to be the only women on the panel, a detailed two page list of everything needed to ensure she enjoys her 2 day stay at whatever hotel she stays at. The list goes on and on. Fox went to JLO then stalled on her because of her demands but came back to her.
