That got a good chuckle out loud from me.

Not a coach, but my wife Stephanie's comments on Coach Larry French a few Christmas's ago when we all heard he was headed to Middlesboro....

"NORAD has an easier time tracking Santa this year than Coach French. There's no telling where he is right now. " 

This was more than once, my DC would walk into the coaches office at halftime.....

Fill in the blank... and we didn't have alot of options.... they usually started the 2nd half. 

My Dad walking into our lockerroom at Mason County at halftime, telling Chris Ullery what he thought we should. Chris said, "You need to tell him that."  My Dad's response, "He won't listen to me,  you better tell him!" Ullery, "He doesn't listen to us either!"

My Dad & Coach French, Mercer vs. Harrodsburg w/ Henry Parks & Venus Meaux....

My Dad: "Larry, we've got 12 players on defense."

Coach French: "Coach, we've had 12 the entire series.We still can't stop them"

Mayfield Coach Leahy: "He ain't no Phi Beta Kappa".

Coach Boyd Randolph was being interviewed by either Larry Vaught or Mike Marsee (I don't remember which) before the season and when he was asked about the team Boyd replied, "Well, we aren't very big, but we are going to make up for it by being slow."
