Track the Reds ( 2nd Half, Week 11)

Featured Replies

Well I certainly hope the Cardinals have two more losses in them because the Reds suck right now.

Not feeling to good about winning a series in the postseason.

I believe Rolen's back is gone. On some of those swing and misses he can't even finish throurh and just drops the bat like he is in major pain. Then on the last ground ball, he just could not bend over enough to get it. This is why Francisco won't get traded.

I said the Reds would go 3-6 on this roadtrip and tomorrow will prove that to be true. Too bad the Cardinals can't help my predictions out any. If the Reds do make the playoffs they'll be swept by whoever they play. I'm not sure why you're worried so much about avoiding the Phillies. It won't matter a bit.

The way they're playing right now, you could be correct. But you being correct is an oxymoron. Therefore, they won't be swept.

And they won't go 3-6 on this roadtrip either huh? Go back and look at how many people laughed at that prediction. Not a chance they win a playoff game. Their offense is awful.

Anything can happen in the playoffs.

The Reds winning a game ain't one of them. I'll even be rooting for them if they play the Giants, Braves or Phillies.

Coming into tomorrow's series finale, the Reds are...

1-4 Padres

2-3 Braves

3-4 Giants

2-5 Phillies

You consider the close losses in Philly before the All Star Break and the two losses in this series, we are likely in for some malox moments in the Reds 1st round series.

I am not worried cause Dusty is great in close games. He will make the difference with his decision making like bunting Stubbs in the third inning with no outs after Wood double. Bunt with a guy who is a terrible bunter and can hit the ball 400 ft at anytime. :irked::irked:

Stubbs 8, Cabrera 6, Votto 3, Rolen 5, Gomes 7, Phillips 4, Heisey 9, Hanigan 2, Bailey RHP

2-1 Padres.

Bailey pitching himself out of any playoff consideration.

4-2 good guys. Cubs score 7 unanswered and trail 8-7 in the 8th...

It would be nice to see an umpire make a call based on when the tag was made, and not when the ball got there. That is another terrible call.
