Highland pulls away after halftime:

Highlands - 42

Does anyone know the address and/or directions to Lous. Eastern?

Eagles shut out the Blue Birds 20-0

Seriously doubt this happens.

Don't know much about Louisville Eastern. If I get to see some film I may know better. However, rumor from the more southern part of the state is that Highlands should win this game.

You coming down for the game?

You coming down for the game?
Absolutely. You going to be around?
I agree with you jb - this game could be a challenge. I know nothing about Eastern other than looking at their scores and opponents. But looking at those scores and opponents tells me Eastern could be more of a challenge than many expect. I am still going with Highlands, and more than likely by more than a couple scores, but if they lost it would not be the most shocking thing I have seen in football.

VOR if Boone plays Eastern they lose by 7.

If Beechwood plays Eastern it's very, very close.

I'll be suprised if Eastern comes within 40 of Highlands.

Really? 40? That's a bold prediction, seeing as to how HHS allowed Beechwood to score 24 and Withrow to score 27 points. I realize that BW put up points against HHS' subs, but that wasn't the case against Withrow!

It's my understanding that Highlands' run defense was a little shaky at times during the Ryle game (most notably in the first half). I agree with Ryan Ernst that stopping Jon Davis will be a challenge for Highlands' defense. I have no clue whether Eastern has any kind of passing game, and if they don't HHS will have a big advantage. However, every source I've heard from says the Davis kid is quite a football player.

And one final note: some BGP'ers have been critical of Highlands' strength of schedule this year, citing that the Beechwood and Boone County games did very little to help prepare HHS for stiffer competition. I have no clue whether this is the case or not. But if there is some merit to this argument, then maybe the Eastern game will be a closer game than most expect (and closer than a 40-point win margin!). A lot of people were thinking HHS would blow out Withrow; Withrow had a very talented QB whose athletic ability created all sorts of problems for HHS' defense. Who's to say Eastern's Davis won't do the same on Saturday...

Yes really jbwill2. Withrow is light years ahead of Eastern!

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it now... I really know nothing about the intricacies of football (if you need any confirmation of this, just ask LN:D), so I'm in no position to compare teams. I hope you're right about the point spread!!!!
