I wasn't saying that. I was just saying that Bell County was not the clear cut favorite. I will say that right now at this point of the season, Bell County does deserve the #1 ranking in 4A.

I promise you he was just saying Bell is not the 'clear cut' favorite. I knew exactly what he was saying. We know we have to be #1 until beaten. We also know that Bell has looked better than us so far but that isn't a good enough reason to concede the title yet. Hopefully it'll be settled at Log Mountain the day after Thanksgiving.

Absolutely. With that being said, Bell County deserves the #1 ranking.

Bell County and Boyle County are favorites just like my favorite soft drink....Some of our favorites have not even played these two teams. Why don't we just tell all the other teams to just stay home this friday night and we can all come up to Bell and watch Boyle co. play you guys for the Championship. I know you both have a lot of talent and I applaude you for that. But to get on here and to set up the championship this early in the season is ridiculous. Toot your own horn. The season is reaching its half way point. If you do make it congratulations. But I am sure that, well let's not mention any other favorite teams. Lets just say none of the other teams are going to lay down and let you have anything. If it were not for all the other teams how exciting would it be? Good Luck.......

Boyle and Bell would meet in the state semifinals.

Other teams have fans just like Boyle and Bell. They need to state their own case if they are worried about this thread. This thread is about who is the number 1 ranked team...not which team will definately win the title. If fans from Holmes, Lone Oak, BE, Catholic, ACS, Western, the Jessamine schools, Knox Central, Rowan, or any other team feel that they have been slighted in the rankings then they can voice their own opinion. Boyle and Bell's fanbase are not always "tooting their own horn" they simply are out numbering other 4a fanbases in these threads.

I just do not buy the fact that Johnson Central is all that good, I mean they are big, and they hit hard, but they just run the ball no matter what, they do not have a diverse offense which will keep them from being very good in the post season in 5A, they really have not beaten anyone in the past year or three, So I think Bell and Boyle being the class of 4a is accurate but has nothing to do with beating Johnson Central.

I think too much emphasis is being put on one common opponent. One must also consider that you're referencing early season Boyle results vs. mid season Bell. A lot can happen, good and bad, in just a few weeks.
