The Spartans are one of the biggest jokes around at the junior youth level, no championship to play for and they still will not play some of the kids. I hope the coach has a winning season, they are a class act.

Just a little history lesson, NKY youth sent their champions down to Louisville to play in what we called the Super Classic for several years. Which were the champs from three different leagues in Louisville and one for NKY. They stop coming after a few years because they could not compete.

Not a chance that the Fort Thomas League would dominate Louisville or anyother league in the NKY area. Fort Thomas league is all about teaching and developing not taking the best and dominating. In the 7th and 8th grade alone you have 4 different teams. Each team has its share of good players but not one team is dominating. When these kids move up to freshman and then work together is where the majic begins to happen.

 

HaHaHa! I guess you havent seen the ALL Star team that Merrill Hoge has assembled on the 7 and 8 th grade level Red Team. LOL. That ought to bring TBirds and Tdyballgame out for some jawin. Im not complaining my kid plays on this team too.

Your kids from Burlington need to find a home in Fort Thomas. You are being humble when you say that they are "good athletes." By the way, you have a tight end that would make a very good running back.

 

True statement and you just never know. The parents are very pleased thus far. We have worked the TE at RB and it does give us a 3 headed monster attack. Coachable kids who have picked up 20+ offensive plays. Heck we ran the hook no ladder a couple times already and scored once.

Luck of the draw if I remember correctly this team took their lumps last year so I'm glad to hear their having a good year!!!

Definitely a good team. I coached that TE in flag football, and I've watched him play soccer, he has great vision. He was the fastest on the field, but I haven't seen him this year to see if people had caught up. You have a very good team.

I think he has been tailgating already. I don't think the FTJFL is geared to go out and play other programs because it is somewhat divided up. This year, 7/8th Red is awfully good. Last year it was Green. Next might be Gold. It goes in cycles. That's what makes it such a great league.

Georgetown Middle School's 8th grade team is now 16-0 with this year and last year. Their cumulative score of their first 5 games is 234 to 22. Scott County high school has alot of great upcoming talent.
