At this point, they need to start being concerned about making the playoffs. When you sit two of your best players, who both can go, because you're saving them for "later", you deserve to lose.

My biggest concern is their manager is one of the worst managers in all of baseball as far as decision making. That kills you in close games against good teams. Its hard to blow good teams out. So yes I'm concerned. I'm pumped however that they are going to make the playoffs and most of their players will be back next year and Bruce, Stubbs, and some young pitchers should improve.

I really think it's the pitching rotation, they brought up Chapman and that's fine, if they're going to use him. BUTTTTTTT IMHO that all they needed to bring up, this pitching rotation is what's killing the Red's right now in my opinion.

That's 26-10 against their remaining opponents. There's nothing to worry about.

Great win tonight for Reds, but IMO exemplifies one of the biggest problems. Hard to advance in the playoffs without a solid closer. Coco is a joke and Dusty insists on riding him out as the closer, despite having better options. I wish he'd strain something and go on the DL . . .

I was thinking Cordero, but I wouldn't be the least bit upset if Dusty got injured and took an extended leave of absence.

I didnt know this until last week but you can put players on the disabled list in September because of the unlimited call-ups.

Give me more than one example over the past 2 months. He's been lights out for a while now. He blow's one save and you people are all over him.

You got to be perfect. WE all are.

He has one of the worst ERA, WHIP, and most blown saves of any relievers in baseball. He's straightened up slightly the past few weeks. Good for him. He's still not a guy anyone can feel good about entering the late inning of a meaningful playoff game. Or any game, for that matter. But if you think he's Rivera in his prime, that's cool by me.
