First game I got to catch from this series and I wish I didn't. It was embarrassing. I guess the glass half full view is that they are playing like this now and not the last week of the season or the playoffs.

If today you were told the Reds lead just went from 4 to 5 games you guys would be estatic. Just because it is going from 6-5 everyone is panicing. Relax.

 

It has nothing to do with the lead....It has to do with the utter embarrassing display of baseball they've been putting on the field.

They have 13 home games. Pittsburgh (3), Arizona (4), Houston (3) and Milwaukee (3). Their 9 road games are San Diego (3), Milwaukee (3) and Houston (3).

If they can win all the series against crap teams, and take 1 in San Diego they should be fine....The way they're playing right now, I'd be surprised if they won more than a game a series the rest of the way though.

No, like I said yesterday my only concern is them making the playoffs. It was a concern 3 weeks ago, it was a concern yesterday, and it's becoming a bigger and bigger concern with each Reds loss.

Can anyone explain why Dusty had Ondrusek hit in the 7th and start the inning in a game they really needed to win w/ Chapman, Rhodes, Masset, and Cordero available? While it isn't his fault that Votto decided to play terrible defense I can't wait to hear the Dusty supporters defend that.
