Crappy swing on that ball. Might as well have just let it go by.

A 1-4 start to the roadtrip.

Lost 4 of last 5 and still have a 6 game lead. I will take that.

There's no reason why the Reds can't go 5-2 on this road trip

Huh? Phillips has put forth zero effort since he came back from his injury. That has little to do with the Reds struggles in Colorado over the past 2-3 seasons. Although, tonight, with even marginal effort from BP, the Reds would be winning this game.

How would you know about effort? Have you been to a game since he came back? Give it a rest for cryin' out loud!

UKMF isn't even a Reds fan.

I would say a 1-4 start is a pretty good reason.

Gonzalez is overtaking Votto for MVP in this series. His homer tonight puts him leading in RBIs and Avg. and three homers behind Pujols for the Triple Crown

Garcia vs. Capuano

Arroyo vs. Cook

Those are your matchups for tomorrow night. Cook was outstanding against the Reds in Cincinnati. The Garcia vs. Capuano matchup favors the Cardinals big time. Garcia is 2-1 with a 1.08 ERA in 25 innings against the Brewers this year.

Gotta love the effort BP has given tonight....Wouldn't know this team was in a pennent race with the way he's approached the game.

If Puljos had given a better effort on his AB in the 8th, the Cards might gained a game.

Not thrilled about it but they just won a ton of games. I believe they are going to go on a small losing streak (hopefully this is it) and the Cards are going on a small win streak. (Hopefully that was it) In the end, I think they'll be fine. Hope so.

No pain whatsoever yesterday is what I heard. No excuse for him and Cabrera not to be in the lineup tonight. Both hit Cook very well.

Don't even need to watch tonight. I suggest most of you do the same. It won't be pretty for you Reds fans. Only 5 games up after tonight.
