My opinions of him as a person changed as that played out because the sheer magnitude of his lies became more clear. My opinion of him as a coach stayed the same. Let's see how the ND folks react when he gets them back in line and bolts for his "dream" NFL job...

I'm not a UC fan or hater and i'm not a ND fan or hater...but I never liked the way BK carried himself and that made me root against him and I will continue to do so at ND.

The Big East is just not that good in football...sadly.

Finding someone who has a career goal of building one of the BE school's into a power and staying there will be hard to do.

Petrino gets U of L on the cusp, then bolts to the NFL.

Rich Rod takes WVU to an elite level, then bolts for Michigan.

Kelly gets Cincy to the top, then heads to ND.

It's a springboard.

As both a ND and UC fan, I'll be fine if he takes a job in the NFL as I can't blame anyone for bettering their career. I do agree with you though that most of the ND faithful will react the same as most UC fans did.

And the hits keep on coming. Vidal Hazleton has a torn ACL and is done for the year...

That stinks!

I agree with you on the offensive line GT. Get that fixed and there is plenty of talent in the skill positions. Pead impressed me. He seemed to make something out of nothing a lot against Fresno. Collaros needs to make decisions and not rely on his legs so much. He looked like he wanted to make a big play on every play. Sometimes that dump pass to the RB is just fine. It gets you a couple yards out of a play and maybe the RB breaks a tackle and does something with it. And maybe sometimes you just need to throw the ball out of bounds. I thought the defense played well enough to win. Fresno's QB made some very impressive throws into coverage and his receivers came down with the ball.
