Southwestern's going to have a fine team this year. I think BGP has them too low, but then again, 5A looks to be a really competitive class this year in the sense that there's going to be a lot of good teams.

I'm sure they'll do well, but rated as the #8 5A team is way high.

Not really that big a stretch this year. Mfd returns 8 starters on both sides and alot of other kids who got lots of playing time off the bench, plus there line is pretty much in tact. They should be better than last year, while Ft Campbell is replacing alot and have a few more question marks going in. Also, Central lost to PTilghman last year, who was defeated by Mayfield and they may have alot of talent, but, they're also replacing alot. Either of those teams could beat Mfd, I'm sure, but, I think they could also handle either one just as easily...

Interesting?? I like that Pulaski and Southwestern made the top 30. Southwestern has a tough game tonight with Bowling Green.

Fern Creek needs to ranked above Henry Clay after seeing both teams scrimmage against St. X. Fern Creek is much further along at this point. Plenty of talent on the Creek squad.

Why would Holmes be in, they got mopped up by SK friday night. Maybe in a couple weeks but certainly not after this weekend.

You are right. Maybe Western (4A) instead.

Says alot for Bell and Boyle to be up there in the top 5.

Does anyone know if he updates this list as the season goes along?

I don't think he does... however, in a few weeks the Herald-Leader will start putting out the Cantrall rankings, which rank teams regardless of class.
