The game was perpetuated by the "bro" culture (which is a culture I can't stand) and has somehow made it into the main stream. This is why my generation blows. First we allowed boy bands to become main stream. Now we are trying to make Smirnov Ice a cultural symbol. Sad times really.

 

Apart from Beirut (that's right, it's called Beirut, not beer pong) and the occasional game of flip cup, my crowd was never much for drinking games...although we did have a kind of ill-conceived competition amongst the guys to see who could make the most bubbles in the bottle of Beam.

Got iced by my mother at a wedding reception and got iced in my driveway at 10:00am on my bithday by my sister. I got Jason Spitz a Green Bay Packer to ice my nephew who is a huge Packer fan at a wedding reception that was the best.

I did see Bronson Arroyo get iced at the Ludlow-Bromley Yacht Club. I didn't know what was happening at the time, but it was pretty funny.

No, and it took him like 3 swigs to "chug" it. Everybody around him at the LBYC was whooping and hollering enough to wake the dead though.

That he does. But he is also a big partier so it doesn't surprise me that he drank it. He will drink just about anything alcohol.

I was iced over the weekend. A bunch of the guys got a chalet down in Gatlinburg for my younger brother's bachelor party, and I was among the last to get down there since I couldn't leave until after work. I was greeted at the door with a shot of bourbon, a shot of rye, and then I had to chug a beer (that was the "admission fee"), and then the guys told me to "check the place out" because it was so nice. I gave the place the once over, including walking out onto the deck to check out the hot tub. I flipped up the hot tub cover to see how many folks it would fit, and there it was...sitting at the bottom...a 103° Smirnoff Ice...just for me.

 

And yes, warm Smirnoff Ice is far, far worse than it is cold.

Not quite, but yeah, I didn't touch another drink for a good while following my warm, refreshing Ice. The bourbon I was fine with...and the shot of Rye. My stomach was suddenly full when I chugged the beer, but I was still doing alright. It was all the nasty, warm, overly-carbonated and putridly sweet Ice that got me feeling a little less than fantastic.

I had heard of icing before but never really knew what it was until this weekend. Havent beed iced yet and really hope I never do.
