First of all, don't fall into that culture...you are far too cool for that. Second, you don't have to get iced. If you are presented a Smirnov Ice in a tricky situation, just politely tell whoever did it that their girlfriend/wife lost her drink. And then help the guy unpop his collar and take the sweat band off of his arm. He'll thank you later.
September 15, 201016 yr I was iced over the weekend. A bunch of the guys got a chalet down in Gatlinburg for my younger brother's bachelor party, and I was among the last to get down there since I couldn't leave until after work. I was greeted at the door with a shot of bourbon, a shot of rye, and then I had to chug a beer (that was the "admission fee"), and then the guys told me to "check the place out" because it was so nice. I gave the place the once over, including walking out onto the deck to check out the hot tub. I flipped up the hot tub cover to see how many folks it would fit, and there it was...sitting at the bottom...a 103° Smirnoff Ice...just for me. And yes, warm Smirnoff Ice is far, far worse than it is cold. I think I would have drawn the line on that one. Give me a cold one and it's fair game.

I'm not a fan of it either...I honestly only played along to make nice in the "bachelor party" environment. My plan is to start Bud Chelada-ing people when I see them next. I think I'm going to have to pick up a 4-pack of Chelada pints for the wedding reception. That should be a hit... :puke: ...although my brother's fiancee probably won't be particularly thrilled.

Anyways, you'll look like a bigger jack wagon if you don't just do it. It's not that bad, its sprite with a sweeter taste. Thankfully though, the game has kind of fallen off. I think it got a little too pricey to play.

To the bolded, I may look like a jack wagon, but at least I won't like a guy drinking a Smirnov Ice.
