August 19, 201016 yr If Cabrera comes off the DL somebody has to go. I doubt Cabrera will come off the DL until after the road trip. No reason to rush him. They've got plenty of time to figure something out.
August 19, 201016 yr One guy that is interesting is Wladimir Balentien. He has been tearing it up over the last 10 games and seems to have cut his strikeouts down considerably. He has some major league experience and may be a good addition to this team. Look at his stats over the last 10 games and the season. August 19, 201016 yr This team doesn't need another OF that can't hit. I know it's AAA but his numbers look a lot better than Gomes the last month.
August 19, 201016 yr Chapman will be up on Sept. 1st. I hope by the 31st so he is eligible for post season.
August 19, 201016 yr I know it's AAA but his numbers look a lot better than Gomes the last month. Like you said its AAA. There's a reason he's been down there all year.

August 19, 201016 yr Like you said its AAA. There's a reason he's been down there all year. There really wasn't any need or room for him and after getting Edmonds it pushed him even farther down the list. He is still only 26 years old.
August 19, 201016 yr Author LRCW, another no show. Weak. I'm watching the game from my bedroom on the big screen. I'm sorry if you miss me. Now quit your crying you big baby.
August 19, 201016 yr I hope by the 31st so he is eligible for post season. He will still be eligible for the post season.

August 19, 201016 yr He will be up the 1st and eligible for post season Main article: Major League Baseball rosters Each Major League Baseball team maintains both a 25-man roster and a 40-man roster of players. Players on the 25-man roster are eligible to play in official major league games throughout the season. The 40-man roster includes the players on the 25-man roster plus as many as 15 players who are either on the team's 15-day disabled list (see below) or who are in the team's minor league system. From September 1 through the end of the regular season, any player on the 40-man roster (also referred to as the "expanded roster") is eligible to play in an official regular season game. Many young players make their Major League debuts in this way, as "September call-ups". Players must be on a team's 25-man roster as of August 31 to be eligible for post-season play. The only exception is that a player on the 60-day disabled list may be replaced by another player from the team's 40-man roster (as of August 31) who plays the same position.
