You may be simply quoting off of his offers but he was not the better of the two QB's in that scrimmage. Maybe you should have stayed for the second half.

 

Not sure what u are talking about when i left Pike got pulled he showed enough in my eyes if Hempel did anything I am sure it was all of Dixies 2nd string!

Hempel had eleven carries for 141 yards and a touchdown o the ground and was 66% with a td in the air.

 

Against the 2ND string I left when they pulled Pike get tough Ryle cause SK is going to spank u agian!!!!:cry:

Ryle threw the ball 2x in the first half. Hempel had a 75 yard TD in the first half. He completed most passes in the second half including a TD. Pike played the entire scrimmage but a couple series. SK fan, you are wrong once again...

Ryle had over 400 yards rushing...Hempel was not really needed to throw.

Certain posters putting way to much emphasis on a "Scrimmage". These games mean nothing and most times teams don't even have their full complement of players available to them. I think Hempel has proven that he is a fine QB, no need to be bashing kids here.

Pretty strong statement for a seasoned QB. I doubt Hemple was afraid of a Dixie Defense.

Let's set the record straight because you can count on bogus, blase, biased and bum info from Sk fanatic #1. Scrimmage final score if it matters was 34-24 Ryle. Dixie's 1s played Ryle's 1s for the entire 4 quarters. Pike sat out one series in the first half and Dixie had a nice TD drive without him. Dixie did not move the ball at all in the second half with their 1s vs. Ryle's 1s. Ryle controlled the ball most of the second half and Pike did nothing in the second half. Conditioning was a big factor. Ryle's D played poorly in the first half and well in the second half. Ryle had 3 TO's (fumbles) and Dixie had 1 TO (Pike interception in end zone). Conner Hempel's stats were excellent in the scrimmage, were excellent last year and will be excellent this year. He is one tough QB and will flat out run over people and by people Ask the corner from Dixie who he ran over and the entire Dixie defense that he ran past for a 70-yard TD run. He was 6 for 9 for 80-90 yards and 1 TD through the air and ran for over 140 yards - no scared ducks in Union, but there are some scared crow-eaters in Independence. I will not say anything bad about a high school player, but I will gladly rip a poster like you who gets on these young men. Why don't you grow up and join the great majority of respectable and respectful BGP posters?
