bigblueinsanity
I'll be heading to Nashville tommorow morning for a business conference. I'll have some free time while I will be down there and was wondering what there will do be to do or any good resturants to enjoy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:thumb:
Colonels_Wear_Blue
Gruhn Guitars...debatably the greatest guitar store in the US.
ColonelCrazy
Head down to Broadway Street downtown. It was packed for the SEC tournament, but it was a fun strip of bars, shops, restaurants, etc.
mcpapa
Depends on what you like. When my son went to school there several years ago, some of our favorites were Noshville Deli, the Pancake Pantry, Loveless Cafe.

Definitely a Nashville attraction that brings in some local celebrities. I have done Noshville before and it is good. Never been to Loveless. Jim Schue
Tootsies! Yeah, Tootsie's and Robert's Western Room are definitely must-sees. I would recommend spending a little time around Printer's Alley as well.
BirdsJustWin
If you are a bbq fan, you have to hit Jacks Barbeque downtown. Chicken, pork, beef...everything is outstanding.

Jim Schue
The mall in Nashville will keep you busy for hours. It can keep you busy if you have a small imagination and no sense of history and place. Since when is a mall a tourist attraction? What can you see at a mall in Nashville that you can't find at the ones in Northern Kentucky or Lexington? That's like taking a trip to New Orleans or NYC and going to eat at Applebee's.

The indoor glow in the dark putt putt was one thing I remember. Can you find one of those around here?

bigblueinsanity
I had no idea Opry Mills was even closed. I haven't been to Nashville in years. I believe it is closed due to the recent flooding.
