July 20, 201016 yr One of the people robbed played a lot with the guys I was playing poker with and they said he took about $50,000 in cash and stayed and drank a lot and then drove home.

Yeah heard that guy won the bad beat and was pretty wasted when he got robbed. Sounds like he was almost begging to get robbed.

July 21, 201016 yr I do feel sorry for the guy, but he could have stayed at the hotel until he sobered up. I was also told they offered him security to his vehicle. Why take all in cash, you can take any part in cash and rest in check, so he could have taken a couple of grand in cash to blow, etc. and the rest in check.

October 7, 201015 yr I'm not gonna lie, like GURU stated these people were pressing their luck a little bit more each time they did this. Eventually their luck ran out however they are lucky that this isn't about 60 or 70 years ago and/or that they're not out in Vegas trying to pull this crap other wise they probably would've just wound up "missing" and the robberies would have suddenly stopped......
