Hollywood Casino Robberies

Did you catch the news about the man robbed at his own house after he won $5000 at the poker room at Hollywood casino. It was reported that this is the 20th time this has happened to a winner leaving the casino. They are investaging the rooberies. You have to think there are employees of Hollywood that are in on this. I hope they catch everyone involved. I do not go much but I have friends and family members that go a lot and I worry this will happen to them. If you go be careful. It looks like they follow you home and then rob you at gun point.

Heard about this on the radio today, hope they definitely figure out what is going on as well. I don't go to often, but I do have a friend or two who are there quite regularly.

No doubt. I want to put it on the record that I never leave with any cash. I always think the next hand is the big winner. Which is why I never go much.

If there really have been more than 10 of these happen it needs to be a news story. Those are just comments from posters. I'd be very interested in knowing if that's true. My guess would be someone is tipping off the robbers of the address rather than simply being followed.

The safety of the customers is what should be the focus, but getting a check cut would probably reduce your risk. Good idea.

Use a P.O. Box, as your address for casino card. If they are following people home, use valet service.

I was there Sunday and this topic was brought up and people there said many of things we have in this thread, as to how not to let this happen.
