Regardless what some like to think, if Price ends up at J'town with Kimbro Jr, they are certainly the favorite and will be extremely tough to beat.

 

Some of you are underestimating Kimbro Jr big time. Put him with a big man like Price and give him a solid guard to work with like Dorsey and I don't see anyone standing in their way. They'll be tested by teams like Eastern, Clark Co, Lexcath, Christian Co, and Ballard, to name a few, but talent wise, they'll be the top team in the state next year.

 

Then again, talent doesn't always beat out hard work.

This is just my opinion, but this does sound alot like a move for athletic reasons only and the KHSAA supossedly strictly prohibits this. Does anyone forsee problems with eligibility?

 

I know Clark County supporters will probably disagree with the following statement, but this situation sounds like what we initially heard when Vinny Zollo committed to UK then decided to move to KY. I obviously don't know the whole story in either case, but from the outside looking in they sound familiar. So, my point is, if the family moves, then what is the issue here?

Is Morrow still at J-Town? If he is you would have to consider them the lock to get the kid since the Pitino/Morrow connection is tight going back to the days of Morrow being a manager with Rick at Kentucky.

It would matter if Price was living in Kentucky and was going from one school to another within the state. However, if you move from outside of Kentucky, you can pretty much do whatever you want. I don't see a problem with taking a look at all the schools since there is an open enrollment policy because this his most important year of high school, his senior year. He needs to enjoy the school setting he will be apart of as well as get a quality education. I don't see anything wrong with what he is doing.

I've been a little out of the loop for virtually all basketball related content since the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament so I appreciate the info.

In the last couple years no. But I don't know of any HS transfers going to Scott Co. this year.

Yes and it still is. My guess at this point is he stays at BG, but you never know with Chane...

Price will be at J-town......Chane will be at Ballard and Kimbro will not be eligible at J-town. Since Kimbro started varsity in Kentucky his freshman year I think he would have to go back to the school he started at or his home school. The same situation happened with Eric Mosley. He left Fern Creek went to prep school, tried to enroll at J-town for senior year and was told that to be eligible he had to attend his home school which was Moore.
