One day many of those in the Big 12 will get tired of Texas, as Nebraska did.

 

Agreed. The problem with schools like Oklahoma, A&M, Tech, etc. is that they rely so much on Texas for much of their revenue (read: they don't want to lose them from their schedule). Nebraska didn't need Texas. The Huskers survived for 100 years in the Big 8 and then were sort of shoved together with Texas and told to be friends. Nebraska didn't like it, realized there was more money to be made in a more appealing situation, and left.

This is nothing more than a Band-Aid for the Big 12 and this arrangement does nothing but favor Texas particular with the TV deal.
