I think its funny how both the Beckhams ended up at Lex Cath to begin with along with Larry Morton. From what I hear their is a huge booster who used to work with Rick Pitino as a business partner and has a son on the roster who is a Sophomore to be and he has been integral in getting these kids to and from the Elite camps across the country. Hmmmmmmm

I can't speak for DSR but it seems Beckham will face far better competition more consistently at St. Benedict's.

He plays on a middle of the road AAU squad that is always buried in the bottom of pool play, and might run into one or two good teams in the tournament depending on how the bracket shakes out. Pointing out that they had one awful team on a loaded schedule proves what???

It proves that they're not playing topnotch competition. It also proves you didn't look at the link. Let me do the math.

 

Margins of victory: 27, 56, 14, 19, 19, 11, 32, 21, 32, 24, 33, 20, 1, 39, 34, 30, 2, 72, 76, and 44.

It's this simple. With the April eval period gone, coaches are being forced to focus more on in season recruiting with only about 20 days open in the summer to see AAU ball. Are his chances at in season exposure better at Lex Cath or national power St Ben's? If you can't see that, debating the topic is futile...

He's not getting better by playing on a team that wins by 72.

 

He can fully develop staying in Lexington and finding a good AAU team. Of course, you say he's on a middle of the road AAU team. Maybe that tells us he's not good enough to play at the highest level.

I don't think he was implying anything. I think he's past that stage.

Tournaments like Beachball, City of the Palms, the Hall of Fame classic, and the Primetime shootout are big events that see a ton of coaches. The Marshall Co. hoopfest draws a lot of coaches too.
