How many kids played ball in KY? Pretty short list proves just how high the odds are to play at that level. (Sorry for the Hall omission earlier)

 

I think the key thing regarding this list is that there seems to be more D1 talent, but only 7 signed.

 

And only one of those 7 signed with one of the 6 "power conferences". Just goes to show you how difficult it is in basketball to get a D1 scholarship.

Why would you find it hard to believe that Marshall offered and not Evansville? Marshall in not a power house in Basketball. Watts was 1st team All-

state I would think he could play a lot of places. Look at his Stats in the Ky.- Ind. All Star Game. We people in McCreary Co. don't care what you believe.

I've seen him play twice. I've seen Marshall play many, many times. He is a terrific athlete. He's not at that level to play for Marshall, IMO. I also work 2 minutes from the campus, know some people in the athletic department, and I checked. So, you folks in McCreary don't have to believe me. Perhaps he was contacted about football, but basketball is a different animal. I wish him luck on the diamond at Morehead.
