Personally, I don't like #3. There are just so many ways to be an idiot that aren't associated with being a liberal. It needs more specificity. There is a certain style to being a liberal idiot that should be captured here.

Liberals believe in a free thinking, open minded, harmonizing society where everyone is equal and every believe is shared.......as long as you agree with them, it starts going down hill when you actually question some of their silly, unrealistic beliefs.

I once listened to Sean Hannity tell me that if I was a liberal, I wanted our troops to die in Iraq and that I wanted America "to lose the war in Iraq" ... it is ridiculous sometimes, the ideas that get assigned to all liberals.

I will admit Hannity is somewhat funny sometimes (put aside the politics).

There is only about one and a half of those "commandments" that I resemble. Yet most consider me to the left of Lenin.

Oh absolutley, but I think it's because they have to try and out do the liberal freak show.

Was flipping through the channels and landed on Ann Coulter talking to Bill Oreilly and thought this gem from her could add to this thread.

Ms. Coulter, like so many others, says things to anger the opposite side and sell books, knowing all the while that her comments add to the polarization of the country. She doesn't believe that stuff. The sad part is that there is a pretty good segment of the population that buys into some of that crap. I was talking to a 78 yr old man yesterday who was spouting insensitive racial remarks about the President while watching Glen Beck. He said(of Beck), "now there's a man who will tell you the truth." I could only feel sad for the old guy and even more disdain for Beck.

The country is so divided now on so many issues, and neither of the last two Presidents W or BHO has done anything to help. We have swung from one side of the pendulum to the other and neither place is where America wants to be.

 

In our past history war has been a great uniter, but those days ended with the Vietnam conflict. I think this is the way it is going to be for some time now.
