1 Album, 1 Movie, 1 Game Film, 1 Book

Featured Replies

Let's say you're stranded by yourself on an island or whatever cliche scenario you like and if you could only listen to 1 album, watch 1 movie and watch 1 game film for the rest of your life what would you choose? I'll include live albums but no compilations or greatest hits. I'm often guilty of it myself but for the purposes of this thread PLEASE only list one of each.

Can't I have a book instead of a game film?

Album - Led Zeppelin IV

Movie - Lord of the Rings Trilogy (I'm counting as 1)

Game Film - Baltimore Colts/New York Giants 1958 NFL Championship game

Add books to the list as well, I actually meant to do that but forgot.

Book - The Legend of Bagger Vance

Big Lebowski

At Folsom Prison

'98 Duke v. UK game (I guess this is what you mean by game film)

Last Days of Summer by Steve Kluger (Though if this was a real life exercise I'd probably bring Idiots Guide to Raft Building)

Album - Maybe greatest hits of Jimmy Buffett. - Hey I am on an island...

game film - any of the Steelers 6 super bowl winning games.

Book - War and peace - need a big heavy book to crack crab shells... Mans got to eat.

Film - Something with Jenna Jamison - Come on, I am standed alone on an island... :D

Album -- "Ten" by Pearl Jam

Movie -- American History X

Book -- "The Catcher in the Rye" by JD Salinger

Game Film -- 2007 Kentucky vs. LSU football

Album- Nevermind by Nirvana

Movie- Shawshank Redemption

Book- Lord of the Flies (which would be ironic)

Game Film- Duke National Championship 2010

1 Album-Coldplay Leftrightleftrightleft

1 Movie-You've Got Mail

1 Game Film-Trinity vs. either X or Male in a state final. :D

1 Book-MUCH more difficult....I need a Complete Works of Leon Uris

Other than sharing an evening together watching the game film (Not that I'm a Trinity fan, I just enjoy football), I think we would argue a lot

1 Album - Tim McGraw "Live Like You Were Dying".

1 Movie - Braveheart

1 Game Film - Bulls Game 6 Against the Jazz either year lol.

1 Book - The Bible I guess.

Album: Bruce Springsteen-"Live 1975/85"

Film: "Do The Right Thing"

Game Film: 1980 Wimbledon Championship, Bjorn Borg vs. John McEnroe

Book: Roger Ebert-"The Great Movies"

Book: When Worlds Collide by Philip Wylie and Edwin Balmer

Movie: Ben Hur

Game Film: Game 1 of the 1968 World Series (one of the all time great opening game pitching matchups.)

Album: Make Yourself - Incubus

Movie: The Big Lebowski

Game Film: Texas vs USC Championship Game

Of course, every one of these answers are subject to change depending on what time of the day you ask me...
