I could be wrong, I mean nobody's paying me for my opinion. But I am just not seeing that. Good to see that they aren't dragging this case out. Either you have a case to prosecute or you don't. I am glad they seem to have been deligent about getting their ducks in a row.

He's started and played one NFL game against a top 5 defense and lost in OT because the coach took the air out of it/him at the end. Played rather well also. I hope we don't have to go down the Dennis Dixon road, but to say he's not able considering he doesn't have much of a body of work is a bit premature IMO.

He did play a very solid game. Did everything that was asked of him and did it well. It was a scaled back gameplan, but he did execute it and showed a lot of moxie in the process. I just am not confident that he could be 'the guy'. I think 1 game or even 1 season is hard to judge a guy. Often when a QB comes in that a team doesn't know much about, the other team has a hard time scheming for him. After a full season, you get a much better idea how good he could be. I could be dead wrong, just my opinion. But if the Steelers believe he could be 'the guy' if needed, then I will have to respect their opinion.
