No, I gave up coaching several years ago. I coached from 2001 to 2007. I coached this freshman class for two years in flag (2001-2002), then I coached our 3rd and 4th grade (2003), then we split each grade up by themselves and I coached 3rd in 2004, 4th in 2005, 5th in 2006 and 6th in 2007. Now, I am the varsity film crew, that has been my job since I quit coaching.

It's no problem at all. WC alums have a lot of respect for Raceland football since we scrimmage just about every year. The Raceland coaching staff always treated us with respect & were extremely nice to us on the field when I played so I always like to see Ram football do well.

Great to hear, Raceland has always gotten along well with the West Carter program. I was really excited to see West playing so well last year. Coach Brown really has the program on the right track and I have not heard any coach talk about him that does not continually compliment him. I hope to see West continue to build on that this season.

 

I guess we will find out in our scrimmage, it won't be long.:thumb:

Dustin Stout is moving into the District. You ram fans are in for a treat. This kid is a team player and an exceptional skilled tailback. As a 8th grader he goes 6'1 and a solid 165. Dont take my word for it, just ask your 8th grade football coach about the show he put on last year. This kid is the real deal. He is coming from the Wurtland 8th grade. Also does anyone know how to contact Racelands head football coach.

Sounds good, as you can see above, the upcoming freshman class at Raceland is pretty big and talented. He will have plenty of young men in his class to get to know. I look forward to seeing him.

I am pumped about him playing there. My roots go way back there. I attended RWIS until the 6th grade. My old man worked there for years.

I really think this team can step up and do as well or better than last year. The junior boys seem to click together really well. Look to Burchett and Litteral.
