It was my understanding that it was agreed that since the 9th booked the arena first that they got to select the time of the final game and that it was agreed that the next time they were together that the tenth would play the second game.

According to the brackets the home team should sit on the home team bench and the home team crowd should sit on the home team side, which at Mason County is designated as the side behind the benches and score table. Mason fans should have been made to sit on the opposite side but I guess feathers didnt want to be ruffled and those who are so comfortable in their seats might have to sit in a seat on the opposite side of the gym. Hopefully, this will be looked at by 10th Region AD's and if no changes are made I guarentee coaches will have their teams sit on the visitor bench.

Looks like the 10th will get the primetime game in 2013 the next time the 37th gets to determine the site of the tournament.

Not trying to sound arrogant or demeaning in anyway shape or form. The 10th should not have to take a back seat to anyone when it comes to the tournament (Nor should the 9th). That's the whole reason why I am not in favor of one site hosting two regions. It should be the individual regions time to shine.

No argument here. Regardless of location, each individual region should be showcased.

Because NKY looks at the 10th Region as not part of them. The papers won't include teams outside of Kenton, Campbell, and Boone in the coaches polls for ranking of teams even though those same newspapers run subscription routes in those counties.

You mean "the Paper" and quite frankly, it really doesn't cover the Ninth all that well anymore!

 

Oh they will put in box scores or notes from the AD's or such who call in the games to them and even then quite frankly, they are a pain to deal with but rarely do they send a reporter to much more than a game or two a week! It's just the way things are now days!

That is because of the NKAC confernce. Campbell has no choice that the boys and girls basketball and football have to participate in order for the smaller sports to get games. Our basketball coaches complain every year.

Really, than why is Walton Verona included in the rankings when they are not a NKAC or 9th region school but are in Boone/Kenton whichever they are in.
