February 22, 201016 yr This was pretty much expected once Tomlinson refused the restructure his contract. Hard to blame the Chargers really. It'll be interesting to see how long Sproles can handle full-time rushing duties.
February 22, 201016 yr I think he could surprise some people if he lands in the right situation. Gone are the glory days of 2000+ total yards and 30 TD's, but put him with a strong o-line and he think he could produce some solid numbers. The Chargers have transitioned into a passing offense and their offensive line the last couple of years wasn't what it was earlier in LT's career...I think those two facts, along with his decline, contributed to the result. I wouldn't expect greatness, but he could be a solid addition for the right price, in the right situation.

That's just my opinion though.
February 23, 201016 yr His legacy will be soiled by his failure to help his team in the playoffs. That's the only thing that bothers me about his legacy. His inability to stay on the field during important playoff games. I always liked LT, but I'll always remember that about him.
February 23, 201016 yr LT mentoring Steve Slaton might be a very good thing. At this point I think Foster is the #1 guy in Houston, he had a nice stretch run.

February 23, 201016 yr Tomlinson will be effective wherever he goes. He can still run the football & he catches the ball very well out of the backfield.
