I picked up a four-pack of West 6th's Imperial Stout at the store on Sunday. I'm looking forward to giving it a try tonight.

Had myself a Double IPA from Taft's Ale House, Cheif Justice and really enjoyed it.

 

Also a Double IPA from Braxton Brewing called Shoptalk.

Had a barrel-aged Prairie Bomb last night. Damn, what a great beer.

I'm assuming Prairie is distributed in Kentucky? Just saw the Advocate reviews and the regular version scored higher.

They are. Shelton Bros distributes them. One of my favorite breweries for sure. I like the ba version better but both are great beers. Regular Bomb is starting to become more common around here.

Times are changing around Owensboro. Used to be all you would see delivering were Bud and Miller trucks. Today while out for lunch I saw a Rhinegeist cargo van at Walmart and a Founders semi truck at the liquor store a few blocks down.

Having a few drinks for Mardi Gras. Started with a Blanton's, and now I just finished an Apex Predator from Off Color Brewing. Really nice farmhouse style. Off Color doesn't make a single bad beer.
