October 7, 201510 yr I know it's not beer per se, but as anyone tried this from Rhinegeist. I've had a couple other hoppy ciders that were pretty good. Rhinegeist make good beer, so I look forward to trying this, but I havent' seen it in Western Ky yet.
December 18, 201510 yr A friend went up to the Evan Williams Experience in downtown L'ville earlier today and picked up some 12yo Evan red label. He was kind enough to give me 2 draws. I'm still trying to process how incredibly great it was.

January 18, 201610 yr If you get a chance stop by the tap room at Taft's Ale House in OTR in Cincinnati. Their brews are really good. Nice variety plus they carry other local beers. Cool little room.
January 18, 201610 yr I had the Rivertown Roebling Porter this weekend. Very good. Definitely a good Cincinnati beer.

They have the best flight/sampler in the area. It's either 5 or 6 (can't remember) beers for $5.75. For comparision it's $9 for four beers at Flip Daddy's.

It's funny, from my understanding, they thought that this was going to be the most popular of the two ciders, but the Semi-Dry has destroyed this in total sales.

January 18, 201610 yr Also had a Bloodline Blood Orange IPA from Flying Dog yesterday. I'll try just about any IPA that I haven't had before.
January 18, 201610 yr I picked up some Shiner 107th Birthday Beer over the weekend. It is a hoppy pilsner. I thought it was quite good. Probably not hoppy enough for you diehard IPA types. While I do like IPAs, I can only drink them in moderation. One or two at a time and I'm good. But I could drink this Shiner all night.
January 18, 201610 yr Figured I'd give this one a try since I love orange soda. It was spot on. I'll have to try that. Coney Island also has recently come out with a hard orange soda. I've not seen either one in stores here yet.
