Top 10 Teams In Northern Kentucky

His ERA was over 7.....

I have not heard of Wheatley, but based on who Heritage played he will be playing against much much tougher competition this year( if your info is correct.)

His E.R.A was high, but he was throwing against all the toughest teams, and Coopers defense wasnt all that great...

Im wondering if anyone knew that heritage's best pitcher (Mark Wheatley) and Cooper's best pitcher (Travis Turner) both transferred to Boone? Their pitching was already solid, with the addition of these two arms, I'd have Boone either one or two, especially with Huff at the helm. He's a great coach!

Would these two stellar pitchers not have to sit out a year since they both played varsity at their previous schools?

How does Cooper's poor defense affect his ERA?

From my contacts at Boone - and they're pretty solid - I don't think either of these two will have all that much of an impact. Not to say they won't have any, but Boone will rely primarily on their returning pitchers.

From what I saw of Cooper last season, Thompson was easily their best pitcher.

Am I picking up on just the slightest twinge of sarcasm here?

Thompson was BY FAR their best pitcher and still is. He's a nice ball player.

Who returns for the Camels?

Steffen, Iles, Kremer, Losey, and Broering will be key players this year for the camels!

Anyone know the status of Josh Bertke at Beechwood? I heard he had a hamstring issue this winter and may have reinjured it lately??? With the loss of Larimore and him, Beechwood will be hurting for sure in pitching.

Josh Bertke is fine. He will carry the pitching load for Beechwood this spring.

What happened to Larimore.? Is he injured

Ineligible until June due to school problems.

I heard there was a slight possibility of him being able to play...anyone else heard this?

No. He's not playing this season.

Doesn't Beechwood have a much stricter grade policy for their student athletes than most other schools?

Referring to Bishop Brossart as "Bishop" is like referring to St. Henry as "Saint" or Holy Cross as "Holy". I'd rank them as follows:

1. Holy

2. Bishop

3. Saint

That being said, Covington is more talented than any of these, and Larry A. is pretty good too. Don't even get me started on County.
