Close game until about 7 minutes to play in the final quarter. Mason County finished on a 21-3 run; finally wearing the Panthers down.

 

Preston Dugan with 15 in the first half kept Fleming County in the game; Royals came out with much more intensity on the defensive end in the second half. I think Dugan finished with 18. Fleming played hard the entire game, but didn't have the horses to stay with the Royals for 32 minutes.

 

Five Royals in double figures. Setty 16, Gilbert 11, Harris 11 (career high), Bluford 10 (and 9 boards), Pawsat 10.

Pawsat came back and got into a couple of games last week for a couple of minutes. More like 10 or 12 minutes tonight. Trying to round into basketball shape, and should be much better come tourney time.

Good road win for the Royals tonight spanking the Panthers..Pawsat and Harris are getting better ever game out,Can't wait till there back 100%..The depth and size is what beat Fleming here Mason had to much of it...You should start to see much more of what the true Mason team should look like as the next 2 Weeks goes on...Rowan up next at home as the Royals hit a nice stretch of home games coming up...Hugh crowd at the den tonight nice see as this rivalry had lost a little luster here lately..
