Jim Schue
For the record, I was opposed to "We Are Marshall", but conceded inclusion into our final list because I personally can't stand Matthew McConaughey and felt maybe it skewed my perception of the movie. My buddy loves it. I don't know many people that don't think "Rudy" is a pretty darn inspiring and entertaining movie. And "Any Given Sunday" is just a flat-out fun and cool football movie. You and your buddy are whacked-out if you would include that movie over "The Longest Yard" on a greatest FB movie of all-time list. By "that," I mean any of those three. And don't get some outrageous idea that I'm talking about the wholly awful Adam Sandler version (I shouldn't have to bring that up, but there are a lot of clueless youngsters out there with really bad taste, so I'm just covering my backside), as opposed to the unbelievably amazing original. mcpapa
Football:All the Right Moves Track: Without Limits (about Steve Prefontaine) I'd have to include the documentary (Fire on the Track) that was made about Pre in the "track" category. Another good one in my VHS library is "Endurance".

While I did like the remake, .... it was not in the same league as the original. Burt Reynolds actually showed great range of acting skills in that movie from hilarious to serious. Whenever it comes on TV and I can never turn it off! The original is a MUST for any football list.
