Tuesday Summit View play Holmes at SV.

Highlands 6th girls and boys play tonight at Campbell County Middle School against the Gold teams. Boys looking to extend the winning streak to 7.

Conner beat Ockermans 8th grade boys by 2 in a heck of a ballgame Ockerman lead most of the game, but lost by 2. In the 7th grade game Ockerman won handily.

Highlands 6th grade girls and boys both win big on Monday night over Campbell County Gold. Coaches were able to empty their benches and get everyone a lot of playing time. Boys team now 12-5 heading into a big game today at Sharp.

Gray beat Ockerman close in 6th grade action and in 7th grade Ockerman jumped out 17 to zip and never looked back in another rout.

Highlands 6th grade loses tonight to Sharp and the referees by a score of 40-36. Officiating was in one word a JOKE. Sad that teams have to go down there and deal with that. Coach gets a T in second half for yelling "foul" and player gets a T and 5th foul for asking official what he did when called for traveling with less than 1 minute to go. These two guys are an embarassment to those that officiate the game of basketball. The Birds will return the favor when Sharp comes to Ft. Thomas later in the year.

Ockerman 7th continues to show they are the class of N Ky. Gray has a nice ballclub. To put Gray away early and coast is not an easy task.

HMS 7th big over Sharp. The 7th grade team at Sharp is simply overmatched against the better teams in the NKMSBL.

As much as I back the officials I'm on record as saying when you go to Sharp you had best be on top of your game. When I used to coach I had some interesting experiences down there.

Unable to make the trip south for the tripleheader, but did get the report that the 6th grade Bird faithful were less than pleased with the men in stripes.

JOAT, I'm hoping you mean the Birds will return the favor and send Sharp home with an "L" and not that the officials at HMS would be anything but impartial.

That would be an understatement. Definitely took the game away from Highlands. Maybe the NKMSBL needs to let this team find there own games rather than including them in the league. I have not seen officiating that bad at any of the places Highlands has played this year.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. The first time the Sharp coaches stand up they should be hit with a T to let them know that schools are tired of this nonsense that goes on every year down there. Hopefully the coach takes this team to the woodshed when they come to Birdville.

Ockermans 8th grade boys won in another thriller, beating Gray in overtime, this moves Ockermans 7th and 8th grade both to 3-0 in district play.

6th grade Camels beat Newport by 14. Newport was overmatched but #4 for the Wildcats could shoot the lights out (5 or 6 threes)
