What is good for the goose is good for the gander. The first time the Sharp coaches stand up they should be hit with a T to let them know that schools are tired of this nonsense that goes on every year down there. Hopefully the coach takes this team to the woodshed when they come to Birdville.

The suggestion that an appropriate response to your impression of getting "homered" is to "homer" that same team when they come to your gym OR to beat the opposing team in a presumably unsportsmanlike manner when they come to your gym is reprehensible.

 

The better response is to make sure they are shown how to run a program with both impartial refs AND sportsmanlike play when they come to your gym. Maybe they will learn from the example being set for them. If not, that is THEIR problem. Don't make it YOUR problem by stooping to their level.

Not saying anything about being unsportsmanlike at all when Sharp comes to HMS. Just blowing off a little steam and having some fun with Stinky. Hate to see the final outcome of a game be decided by the men in stripes. The two bogus technicals that were called were the difference in the game. As I stated earlier, I have been to many places this year for middle school games and felt that the officiating has been much better than expected outside of the games last night. I know that it is not easy, having done it myself years ago, but never did I feel the need to benefit one team over the other based upon who was giving me the paycheck. I am done with this and on to next weeks games.
